How Do I Use The BGFS650?
The BGFS650 Hercules Scrub & Clean is not designed for use on carpets. When using the BGFS650 be careful not to slip on floors, as floors can become very slick during the cleaning and scrubbing process. Only use pads, brushes, and detergents designed to be used with the BGFS650, using incorrect polishes and detergent could increase the risk of slipping. When using the BGFS650 you do not want to keep it in a single space for too long at a time as this can damage your floor’s surface.
Recommended Polish
It is recommended that you use the Bissell BigGreen Commercial Gloss Floor Polish. Make sure to read the instructions for your polish and apply polish directly to the surface of the floor unless otherwise directed.
Scrubbing / Cleaning The Floor
Brushes are recommended for heavily soiled surfaces, otherwise use white scrubbing pads should be attached. Turn the machine on at the outlet. Place your foot on the back of the cleaning head to secure it and pull the handle towards you to begin cleaning. Returning the handle to the starting position will stop the machine.
For an evening cleaning, use this diagram. Each minute you should clean a 1 square meter of space (approximately 3.28 feet by 3.28 feet). Leaving the machine in a single area for a prolonged amount of time can damage your floor’s surface. When you are done cleaning, simply return the handle to the upright position to stop the machine.
Polishing / Buffing The Floor
Make sure to clean the floor completely before applying polish or wax. Pay attention to the instructions of the chosen wax or oil you are using when applying it. Start with the blue pads and finish with yellow pads for a high-sheen finish. Return the handle to the upright starting position when you are finished cleaning.

How Do I Store My BGFS650 Between Cleanings?
The BGFS650 is easy to store. The power cable can be stored conveniently on the back of the machine using the attached cable hooks for wrapping. All of the pads and attachments for the BGFS650 are washable. The blue and yellow polishing pads are machine washable and can be air-dried after washing. It is recommended that they are reshaped during the drying process. The brushes and other pads can be hand-washed using warm soapy water. The machine is compact and lightweight making it easy to store with other cleaning equipment on your property.
